Hisao TAKEISHI was an exchange student at the Department of Fisheries Technology Engineering in 2007 within the scope of a bilateral agreement between Nagasaki University in Japan and Karadeniz Technical University. He visited Office of Exchange Programmes after 18 years and met with our institutional coordinator Prof. Dr. Sercan EROL, our vice coordinator Assist. Prof. Dr. Hasan Islam COPUROGLU, Lecturer Sener KARAOSMANOGLU who was responsible for incoming students in 2007 and Lecturer Onur AYDIN who is responsible for incoming students as of 2025. The meeting ended with a family photo and a gift bag being presented to Hisao. We would like to thank Hisao very much for visiting us after many years, showing great loyalty. We would also like to thank two more guests that accompanied Hisao during his visit. The first one is Nehir BALAKCI, our graduate student from the Department of Interior Architecture who also studied at the Coburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany) in the 2006-2007 academic year as an Erasmus exchange student. The second one is our former staff member Lecturer Seyhan CAGLAR ERDOGAN who was a member of our team back then in 2007.
