KTU Won Two Awards in TEKNOFEST Competitions
Aerospace and Technology Festival (TEKNOFEST) is the world's largest festival in the field. It was held in Ankara between August 30 and ended on September 3, 2023. Representing Trabzon and the region in the best way at TEKNOFEST, Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) left its mark on the organization, which was attended by nearly 1 million visitors with its inventions.
KTU made a name for itself again by returning with many awards. Our students’ Creatiny Rocket Team competed with their rockets named FIRTINA-B in the Medium Altitude Rocket competitions organized within the scope of the events and came third. In the Deneyap Kart Robolig Competition, KTU UZAY Team also came third among many teams and brought great happiness to KTU.
"OUR HOPE AND EXPECTATIONS HAVE EMBARKED"
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI, congratulated our KTU SPACE Team and CREATINY ROCKET Team, which made Karadeniz Technical University and Trabzon proud with their inventions and success in competitions, and wished them continued success. Prof. Dr. ÇUVALCI, pointing to the successful teams, said that young people have signed very beautiful projects that make everyone proud for the future of the country. Prof. Dr. ÇUVALCI stated that our students increased the hope and expectation of Turkiye in the journey of civilization that Turkiye has embarked on. He continued: "In this country, which has big goals, every work done in the name of local and nationalism makes us proud. Seeing these works of our young people here today and witnessing them receive awards made us proud and happy."
KTU STANDS OUT IN COMPETITIONS
As it will be remembered, our university was deemed worthy of the 'Best Team Spirit Award' in the Hyperloop Development Competition with the start of TEKNOFEST competitions.
