The 61st General Assembly and General Assembly Conference of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) was held on December 21, 2024, in Ankara, with the participation of TÜBA members, university rectors, and institutional leaders. During the assembly, elections for TÜBA Associate Membership, proposed by academy members, were conducted. In this significant election, our academic, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Can ALTUNIŞIK, was elected as a TÜBA Associate Member, marking an important achievement. 

Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI congratulated Prof. Dr. Ahmet Can ALTUNIŞIK on his election to TÜBA membership, stating, “The selection of our academic as an associate member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences is a source of pride for our university and the scientific community. I firmly believe that he will continue to contribute to our country through his scientific studies at both national and international levels. I extend my best wishes for his continued success and congratulate him on this esteemed membership.”
