Our University Stands Out in the URAP Field Based Rankings: Continued Advancement in Technical Areas
The University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) 2023-2024 World Field Based Rankings, conducted by the Informatics Institute of Middle East Technical University (METU), have been announced.
The URAP Field Based Rankings assess the last 5 years of performance by evaluating universities based on the number of articles, citations within the relevant field, and the criteria of international collaboration. According to the results of the URAP 2023-2024 World Field Rankings, Karadeniz Technical University ranked in 9 fields out of 78 scientific fields. Within Türkiye, our university placed 3rd, 4th, 10th, and 12th in these fields. The fields are ranked as follows: 3rd in Architecture, 4th in Earth Sciences, 4th in Civil Engineering, 10th in Mechanical Engineering, and 12th in the overall Engineering field.
Among world universities, Karadeniz Technical University ranked 229th in Architecture, 719th in Earth Sciences, 446th in Civil Engineering, 949th in Mechanical Engineering, 975th in the overall Engineering field, 1334th in the Technology field, 1435th in Biological Sciences, 1428th in Chemical Sciences, and 1219th in the Medical and Health Sciences field.
