REQUIREMENT FOR FOREIGN LANGUAGE (ENGLISH) |

There is a compulsory English preparatory class for candidates of master's programs with thesis who have not obtained the minimum scores specified below from YDS / YÖKDİL or a foreign language exam accepted as equivalent by ÖSYM (Equivalencies of Foreign Language Exams). |

EVALUATION OF MASTER'S DEGREE APPLICATION |
Application documents uploaded by the applicants to the online application system (CV, passport, undergraduate diploma, undergraduate transcript, Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate (TÖMER), Foreign language (English) certificate) It is checked by the Institute and examined whether there is a deficiency in the application made by the candidate to the relevant department. Incorrect applications or applications with missing documents are not approved and returned to the candidate. Applications approved by the Graduate School are directed to the Graduate Applicants Evaluation Commission of the relevant department. The applicants' application documents are evaluated by the commission in the department and the "Main" and "Substitute" placement list is created according to the quota determined for international students. Applicants applying for Master's programs are not subjected to an oral/written interview exam. |

DOCUMENTS TO BE UPLOADED TO THE "FINAL REGISTRATION SYSTEM" BY INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS WHO HAVE BEEN PLACED TO MASTER'S PROGRAMS |
THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS WILL BE UPLOADED TO THE SYSTEM AS SEPARATE FILES IN "PDF" FORMAT.
In order to be exempt from the Turkish language preparatory program, a Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate from the Turkish Language Teaching Centre (TÖMER) is required at a minimum of Intermediate 2 - Intermediate 1-B level. The applications of international applicants who do not have a Turkish language proficiency (TÖMER) certificate are approved, but these applicants are subjected to an Exemption Exam to be administered by KTU TÖMER (Turkish Language Teaching Centre). Applicants who get enough points from this exam are exempted from the Turkish language preparatory class. Applicants who do not get the sufficient score are taken to the Turkish language preparatory program.
In case of incomplete file upload, registration is not accepted. |

Applicants who will apply to graduate programmes from outside the field can find out whether their graduation fields are suitable for application from the list of "KTU - Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences - Graduate Programs". For the master's and doctoral programs to be applied, the status of being in or out of the field is determined according to the undergraduate graduation field. |
