As part of the Principles of Management and Ethics course, a debate titled "Is Management a Science or an Art?" was conducted.

One group of students presented arguments and research findings asserting that management is a science, based on their own perspectives. The other group, however, contended that management is an art, also supported by research findings and their own viewpoints. The decision was left to the students who attended the debate.

At the conclusion of the debate, it was observed that the supporters of both sides were closely matched. The responsible faculty member for the course, Professor Dr. Sedat Bostan, remarked that the debate ended well and emphasized that management is both a science and an art. He also highlighted that perhaps such discussions should never come to a definitive conclusion, thus concluding the activity.
