As part of the Scientific Seminar Series organized by our department to follow the latest academic developments in industrial engineering, broaden students’ knowledge in various research areas, and promote interaction with international scholars, Ph.D. candidate Asmaa Houar from Abou Beker Belkaid University of Tlemcen, Algeria, delivered her presentation titled “Intelligent Approaches for Solving Constraint Satisfaction Problems” on November 6.

The seminar addressed intelligent solution methods for constraint satisfaction problems and their applications, particularly in automatic university scheduling. Dr. Houar shared her insights into artificial intelligence-based approaches, discussing their innovative potential in problem-solving and presenting findings from her own research.

The event enhanced our students’ awareness of AI, optimization, and planning research, providing valuable inspiration for their future academic and project work.
