The project application titled "Cooperation and Awareness for Pollution-free and Environmentally Sustainable Black Sea, CARE SEA" submitted to the internationally funded Cross-Border Cooperation in the Black Sea Basin Program (Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme), in which Prof. Dr. Kadir SEYHAN, one of the faculty members of the Department of Maritime Business Administration was entitled to be supported.
The other institutions involved in the 24-month project, which will last for 24 months with a total budget of 850.000,00 Euros (KTU Budget 180.915,00 Euros), are USPEE from Moldova, Aristotale University from Greece and Danube National Research Institute from Romania, under the leadership of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University from Georgia. Within the scope of the CARE SEA Project, activities will be carried out to increase the awareness of the people of the region and to develop correct and practical action tools for the protection of nature and biodiversity and for a greener and cleaner Black Sea region.
