As part of his visit to Kanuni Anatolian High School, the Chair of our Department, Prof. Dr. Kadir SEYHAN, held a series of constructive meetings focusing on our University, Faculty, and Department. The discussions centered on strengthening academic collaboration, enhancing institutional visibility, and fostering mutual exchange between secondary and higher education.

In addition, Prof. Dr. SEYHAN, who serves as the scientific advisor and mentor of the project “BLUE LEGACY / MAVİ MİRAS”—implemented within the framework of the European Union’s Horizon Europe Programme (SHORE Project) and coordinated by Ebru Topaçlıoğlu, an English teacher at Kanuni Anatolian High School—conducted an engaging and informative seminar for students. During the session, he provided insights regarding the documentary the students plan to produce in the Danube Delta, emphasizing the significance of environmental awareness in contemporary scientific and educational contexts.

The BLUE LEGACY / MAVİ MİRAS Project aims to increase students’ awareness of the blue ecosystem and to promote environmentally conscious and sustainable behaviors. By encouraging young learners to actively engage in environmental projects, the initiative seeks to bridge education, research, and ecological responsibility within the broader European framework.
