General Information |
|
In the Civil Engineering department, the department of construction is a crucial discipline concerned with the design, structural analysis, construction, repair, and reinforcement of structures. This department equips students with the ability to learn the mechanical properties and durability of various construction materials such as reinforced concrete, steel, and wood, and to apply this knowledge to real-world projects. In the department of construction, students learn computer-aided design (CAD) and structural engineering software necessary for modern structural design. Graduates can play critical roles in the design and construction of various structural projects such as reinforced concrete and steel buildings, bridges, and tunnels. Consequently, the department of construction aims to provide students with both theoretical and practical skills, preparing them to become successful professionals in the field of structural engineering. |
