The aim of the public administration program is to train personnel responsible for the economic and social development of the system at various levels of the state organization and to conduct research on this subject.

In the public administration program, courses are taught in fields such as political and social sciences, management sciences, urbanization and environmental problems, political theories, history of political ideas, state phenomenon and origin, political power, political regimes, constitution and law.

Required Qualifications

Those who want to work in this field must have superior general academic ability, be able to express their thoughts in writing or verbally, be interested in sociology, psychology, logic, philosophy and history, and be well-educated in these fields. In addition, managers who work in constant interaction with the public and higher authorities are expected to have a sound logic, the power of persuasion, and the ability to perceive the reasons for human behavior.

Titles Earned by Graduates and Works They Do

Those who graduate from universities in public administration receive titles such as "District Governor", "Inspector", "Manager", etc., depending on their positions in the institution they work for.

The public manager working in the state sector ensures that the laws and orders sent by the government for implementation are transmitted to the relevant departments and their implementation; It checks whether there are any incorrect or incomplete applications, listens to the public's wishes and complaints, and refers them to the relevant authorities. Public administrators, especially governors and district governors, are responsible for the security and economic and social development of the provinces or districts in which they are located.

Graduates who work as managers in the management units of other public and private organizations ensure the implementation of laws and regulations, supervise other personnel in this regard, and in short, apply the principles of management science in the institution where they work.
