In line with the economic development policies of the Republic of Türkiye and higher education legislation, Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) has a personnel regulation that governs the financial and employment rights of its staff. Under this regulation, the salaries of all academic and administrative personnel are determined based on criteria such as job classification, position title, salary grade, salary step, and educational background.
Every employee at our university is entitled to receive the salary specified in their employment contract or relevant legislation from the date they commence work. Salary payments are made regularly on a monthly basis. In addition, factors such as seniority, promotion, additional teaching hours, and overtime are also taken into consideration in salary calculations.
