Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) ensures that employees involved in outsourced services have equal rights. The university strictly complies with the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye, labor laws, and all relevant regulations to protect workers’ rights.
In contracts with third parties, necessary arrangements are made in line with job security, social rights, and equality principles. The protection of these rights is included as an institutional commitment within KTU’s Strategic Plan.
Accordingly, the rights of outsourced personnel and KTU staff are based on Türkiye’s labor and employment legislation, primarily the Labor Law No. 4857, the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, the Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law No. 5510, and the Law on Trade Unions and Collective Labor Agreements.
