In line with the economic development policies of the Republic of Türkiye and higher education legislation, Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) has a personnel regulation governing the financial and employment rights of its employees. Under this regulation, the salaries of all academic and administrative staff are determined based on criteria such as job classification, position title, salary grade, salary step, and educational background.
Every employee working at our university is entitled to receive the salary specified in their employment contract or relevant legislation from the date of their appointment. Salary payments are made regularly on a monthly basis. In addition, factors such as seniority, promotions, extra teaching duties, and overtime are also taken into account in salary calculations.
