Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) collaborates with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) on climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction. Joint projects are carried out with local and national NGOs active in the fields of environment, climate, and disaster management. Seminars, workshops, and public awareness programs are also organized. These collaborations contribute to the development of adaptation strategies, risk reduction measures, and community-based solutions to address the impacts of climate change at the regional level.
A protocol signed between the KTU Landslide Research Center and the Trabzon Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate aims to strengthen research, training, and awareness activities on natural disasters.
