Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) develops effective regional solutions on environmental and climate issues through cooperation with local institutions and organizations. The university carries out joint projects, training programs, and awareness campaigns with municipalities, public institutions, NGOs, and private sector representatives, thereby strengthening environmental sustainability and local capacity in combating climate change.

University Signs Protocol to Contribute to Society

A protocol signing ceremony on disaster awareness was held in the Rectorate Building meeting room with the Provincial Directorate of National Education. On behalf of our university, Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah Çuvalcı, representatives from the KTU Landslide Research Center, and a delegation representing the Provincial Directorate of National Education attended. Protocol on Natural Disaster Studies and Training Cooperation

A protocol signed between the KTU Landslide Research Center and the Trabzon Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate aims to strengthen research, training, and awareness activities on natural disasters. KTU Landslide Research Center – Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Cooperation Protocol

This protocol between the KTU Landslide Research Center and the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality aims to conduct joint studies on natural disasters such as floods, landslides, earthquakes, droughts, and forest fires in the Eastern Black Sea Region.
