Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) develops effective regional solutions on environmental and climate issues through cooperation with local institutions and organizations. The university carries out joint projects, training programs, and awareness campaigns with municipalities, public institutions, NGOs, and private sector representatives, thereby strengthening environmental sustainability and local capacity in combating climate change.
A protocol signing ceremony on disaster awareness was held in the Rectorate Building meeting room with the Provincial Directorate of National Education. On behalf of our university, Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah Çuvalcı, representatives from the KTU Landslide Research Center, and a delegation representing the Provincial Directorate of National Education attended.
