In line with sustainable development goals, KTU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) provides comprehensive entrepreneurship and commercialization services, particularly to support young entrepreneurs’ participation in the economy and to contribute to poverty reduction.

Through pre-incubation, incubation, and acceleration programs conducted within TTO, entrepreneurs receive mentoring, investor meetings, guidance to entrepreneurship programs, networking opportunities, and support in company establishment processes. These initiatives facilitate the transformation of innovative ideas into sustainable business models.

Within the scope of technical support and mentoring, entrepreneurs are provided with expert guidance on business plan preparation, presentation techniques, and intellectual property strategies. This support encourages entrepreneurs to ground their business ideas on stronger foundations.

Entrepreneur–investor meetings contribute to the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem by organizing matchmaking events with angel investors, venture capital funds, and corporate investors. These initiatives facilitate entrepreneurs’ access to finance and support the realization of sustainable business ideas.

In addition, consultancy is provided for accessing funding sources and establishing companies, encouraging applications to public grant support programs, investment funds, and other financial instruments.

Through commercialization strategies, ideas generated from R&D and innovation activities are transformed into economic value. The processes of commercialization and/or transfer of inventions to third parties are managed through a holistic approach.
