According to data from 2020–2024:

Natural gas usage reduced by 30.2%
This reduction has been achieved through the use of energy-efficient devices, building insulation improvements, optimization of heating and cooling systems, and awareness initiatives promoting responsible energy use.

Through these efforts, KTU has significantly reduced its carbon footprint and established itself as a strong model in sustainable energy management.
