For students in need of financial support, the Karadeniz University Empowerment Foundation Scholarship (KÜVAK) and the KTU Scholarship and Aid Directive provide free lunch scholarships. Applications are submitted online: through the Department of Health, Culture and Sports website for the Meal Scholarship and through the Information Management System (BYS) for the Empowerment Foundation Scholarship. These initiatives ensure students’ access to their fundamental right to nutrition.
Karadeniz University Empowerment Foundation (KÜVAK) has been operating for nearly 40 years to support KTU’s educational, research, and infrastructural development. As a well-established solidarity network created through public-private partnerships, KÜVAK provides scholarships for academically successful yet financially disadvantaged students, thereby promoting equity in education.
Scholarship applications are conducted transparently and accessibly via the KTU Information Management System (BYS). Candidates can easily apply through the KÜVAK Scholarship Application Portal . With these programs, KÜVAK not only meets students’ financial needs but also strengthens the university’s social mission.
