Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) has adopted an institutional policy to promote the sustainable use, conservation, and restoration of land resources. This policy outlines the university’s strategic commitments to preserving soil quality, preventing land degradation, supporting reforestation, and integrating sustainable land management principles into academic and operational practices.
Through this policy, KTU aims to enhance ecosystem resilience, minimize the environmental footprint of campus development, and contribute to the global objectives of SDG 15 – Life on Land.
