Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) regulates the financial and employment rights of its employees in compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Türkiye. In this context, the Civil Servants Law No. 657 comprehensively regulates the working conditions, qualifications, appointment procedures, training, career progression and promotion, duties, rights and obligations, responsibilities, salaries, allowances, and other employment-related matters of public servants.
At our university, the salaries of public personnel are determined based on title, cadre grade, and seniority, ensuring equal rights for all employees. KTU applies the principle of equal pay for equal work, regardless of gender, age, religion, language, ethnicity, disability, or similar differences in its remuneration processes.
