International Project Development and Consortium Formation Workshop

Participants are invited to attend a workshop aimed at developing collaborative projects addressing key issues in the region, which will be held in Trabzon on December 10-12, 2025, hosted by Karadeniz Technical University as part of the Grand Black Sea Forum (Grand Black Sea Forum / T3N-BSB Project).

The workshop will focus on developing and preparing project ideas within the scope of “International Funding Programs,” with particular emphasis on project ideas related to the blue economy, low-carbon economy, climate change adaptation, resilience, and sustainability. Participants, consisting of university students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and representatives from education and research institutions, companies, public institutions, clusters, and business support organizations, will jointly design strong and competitive project concepts for relevant open calls. In addition, the workshop will offer valuable opportunities for networking and partnership development through B2B meetings and will support participants in forming potential project consortia in subsequent stages.

Workshop on International Project Development and Consortium Formation, will be implemented as part of the project entitled ‘T3N-BSB Transnational Technology Transfer Network for the Black Sea Basin’ which is funded within Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme and led by the Karadeniz Technical University Technology Transfer Application and Research Centre (KTU TTC) with the partnership of the “Centre for Research and Technology Hellas” (CERTH) from Greece, the “Bulgarian Association for Transfer of Technology and Innovation” (BATTI) from Bulgaria and the “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati (UDJG) from Romania.

Objective

  • To develop project ideas for open grant calls focused on the blue economy, low-carbon economy, climate change adaptation, resilience, and sustainability
  • To prepare a Project Concept Note
  • To organize B2B meetings for the formation of suitable project consortia

The relevant workshop is open to applications from:

  • Researchers and academic teams
  • Startups and entrepreneurs
  • Representatives of companies, clusters, and business support organizations, as well as R&D personnel.
