Prof. Yılmaz SAVAŞÇIN, Prof. Dr. Selçuk TOKEL, Prof. Dr. Kadir SARIİZ and TÜBİTAK BUTAL manager Prof. Dr. Şeref GÜÇER, who are among the leading geochemistry researchers in Turkey, came together withTurkish geologists working in the fields of geochemistry, mineral deposits, mineralogy and petrography, and organized the 1st National Geochemistry Symposium in 2004. The Geochemistry symposiums, which are increasingly being attended at every other organization, have been held at TUBITAK BUTAL Bursa Facilities in 2004, 2006 and 2008, at Fırat University in 2010, at Pamukkale University in 2012, at Mersin University in 2014 and finally in Antalya with a host organization of Ankara University in 2016. This symposium, which is organized as International Participation since 2012, will be held in 2018 again in Antalya under the organization of Karadeniz Technical University.
