The seminar titled "Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems in the Social Sciences, and Data-Driven Applications," jointly organized by Karadeniz Technical University's (KTU) Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering and the Department of Sociology, has been successfully held.

The event took place online via the Microsoft Teams platform on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 14:00, drawing significant interest from participants across both the engineering and social sciences fields. Throughout the seminar, the transformative role of artificial intelligence technologies and modern information systems in the social sciences was addressed, and the contributions of innovative data-driven applications to social research and analytical processes were comprehensively discussed.

Bringing engineering and social sciences together, this meaningful interdisciplinary event concluded successfully following a Q&A session with the participants.
