Today, a researcher (Dr. Huang Peng) from the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited our faculty and met with scientists from the Department of Geological Engineering. Discussions focused on shared research interests and opportunities for scientific cooperation. During the visit, plans were outlined for future joint research projects and continued collaboration between the two institutions.

Dr. Huang Peng and our scientists from the Department of Geological Engineering will also conduct joint fieldwork in western Anatolia to investigate the formation and geological evolution of the Anatolian continental block over millions of years.
