Dear Colleagues and Scholars,
The 10th International KTUDELL Conference on Language, Literature, and Translation will be held on 29-30 May 2025 in Trabzon, TÜRKİYE.
We, the KTUDELL Family, are excited to gather for this traditional conference in Trabzon to share knowledge, encourage future academics, inspire innovation, exchange cultures, and foster collaboration—while reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. This year’s conference is of particular importance as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of our department. After organizing nine conferences in the past, we truly understand the importance of this experience and the memories we've created along the way. As the KTUDELL Family, we have been celebrating this quarter-century journey with poems, songs, interviews, drama performances, radio programs, panels, department magazines (E-LIT and TRANS/LATION/NATION) and many other valuable events. However, we are excited to crown these celebrations and this significant milestone to reflect on our achievements over the past quarter-century along with the KTUDELL 10th International Conference!
Our program features an array of keynote speakers and sessions on language teaching, literature, translation, AI, cultural studies, workshops, collaborating on research, and networking opportunities designed to engage participants accompanied by academic and sociocultural discussions. This year, our theme explores the intricate relationship between language, literature, and AI, highlighting the importance of translation as a crucial bridge for multifaceted thinking. So, we kindly invite you to explore the stratified relationship between language and literature, understand the subtleties of translation practices, and have a pleasant time in company with tea and coffee in enthusiastic discussions regarding their significant influence on the appreciation of diverse cultures around the globe.
We cordially invite submissions of papers in all languages for our comprehensive conference on language. Your contributions will enrich our discussions and promote a deeper understanding of linguistic diversity. We also hope to make this conference a memorable and productive experience by encouraging all students at the undergraduate and graduate levels to actively participate, ask questions to experts in the field, and connect with their peers.
On your way home, you will undoubtedly have your KTUDELL memories, cute souvenirs, academic gains, Trabzon stories, friendships, and unforgettable experiences from sightseeing and visits around Trabzon in your conference bag.
One final word, all papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an ISBN number, and a selected number of full papers will be published in hard copy by Karadeniz Technical University Publication. Further details on the full paper format will be announced in the near future.
We wish to make the conference accessible to as many participants as possible, and we offer the option to attend in person orally or virtually, depending on your preference. We hope you will join us for this exciting event, contribute to the lively and engaging discussions, and visit the pearl of the Black Sea.
Best Regards,
Organizing Committee
