As part of the BIOBLACK project activities, a training session titled "Raising Awareness for the People of the Black Sea to Recognize and Protect Black Sea Biodiversity" took place on September 30, 2026, in Sürmene Balıklı. Aimed at local fishermen, who constitute a key stakeholder group for the project, the meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Fatma Telli Karakoç, Prof. Dr. Hacer SaÄŸlam, and Assit Prof. Dr. Ä°lknur Yıldız as key speakers and researchers. Crucial insights on preserving Black Sea marine biodiversity and managing sustainable marine resources were shared during the session.
