Karadeniz Technical University has departments of languages within the Faculty of Letters and a School of Foreign Languages. Through these academic units language courses can be offered in Turkish and English. School of Foreign Languages is responsible for running the English courses for students who enroll the academic units with obligatory English programmes, and preparing language courses for KTU students who have been selected as outgoing Erasmus students. The university offers intensive Turkish language courses for incoming exchange students.
