The Creatiny Rover Team, which includes students from the KTU Department of Software Engineering, achieved significant success at the Micro Rover Challenge 2026, hosted by Middle East Technical University (METU) from July 29 to August 1, 2026.

Comprising students from the Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence Engineering, as well as students from various other faculties and departments, the team finished the competition in second place.

Standing out as the only team to successfully complete all autonomous tasks during the competition, the Creatiny Rover Team was honored with the "Most Innovative Team Award" in recognition of its innovative solutions and exceptional technical performance.

The students who took part in the team are as follows:
