General Objective

To train researchers and specialists who can conduct independent scientific research on issues related to working life and social policy, and who can follow innovations and changes in the field.

The purpose of the Master’s Program in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations with Thesis is:

PEA1. To train academicians who will continue their academic development by conducting original research activities and graduate studies in research and academic institutions,

PEA2. To train researchers and experts who can take on roles and positions related to employer-employee relations and follow innovations, changes, and transformations in working life,

PEA3. To train scientific experts who will contribute theoretically and practically to solving problems related to working life through postgraduate scientific research and studies,

PEA4. To train graduates who are preferred by the public and private sectors due to the knowledge, skills, competencies, fundamental values, and professional equipment they have gained from theoretical and practical perspectives.
