Access to clean water and adequate sanitation is vital for protecting human health, supporting environmental sustainability, and improving quality of life. SDG-6, the sixth of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, aims to ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all by 2030. Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) contributes to this goal by improving on-campus water infrastructure, increasing water efficiency, delivering hygiene awareness training, and conducting collaboration-based research.
