STEIDA Project Consortium Meeting Held in Sofia, Bulgaria

Within the scope of the “Strengthening Technology Transfer Ecosystem through Innovative and Digital Approaches (STEIDA)” project, coordinated by our Center, a consortium meeting was held in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 4–5 November 2026, with the participation of project partners.

During the meeting, project partners reviewed the overall progress of the project, discussed completed and ongoing activities, and evaluated project management and implementation processes. Particular emphasis was placed on the Matchmaking-Collaboration Platform developed within the project, including its promotion, dissemination, effective utilization, and long-term sustainability.

As part of the discussions, the partners examined the current number and distribution of registered users across different profile categories on the platform and identified user categories requiring further engagement and discussed strategies to increase registrations and encourage active participation.

Furthermore, the partners exchanged views on potential methodologies for facilitating matchmaking activities among registered users with similar research interests, areas of expertise, and collaboration objectives. Discussions focused on identifying suitable approaches to connecting users and fostering potential research, innovation, and technology transfer collaborations through the platform.

Practical sessions were also conducted to demonstrate and evaluate the platform's functionalities, providing partners with an opportunity to explore its features and discuss ways to enhance user engagement and matchmaking activities.

The meeting also addressed upcoming project activities, including the Multiplier Event planned to be held in Trabzon, Türkiye, as well as further dissemination and sustainability efforts aimed at maximizing the project's impact.

The consortium meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen coordination among project partners, align priorities for the remaining implementation period, and support the effective achievement of the project's objectives.
