"Training on Increasing Patent Competencies in Health Sciences" was Organised

With the cooperation of KTU Technology Transfer Application and Research Centre (KTU TTC), Institute of Health Sciences and Faculty of Health Sciences, information training on ‘Increasing Patent Competencies in Health Sciences’ within the scope of the PhD course of the Department of Nursing was given by one of the patent experts of our Centre. Assist. Hülya SABIR, one of the patent experts of our Centre.  In the field of health, patient care and innovative patented products were included in the content covering various fictions to strengthen the patentability phenomenon in intellectual and industrial property rights.

At the end of the training programme, Fulya BATMAZ, PhD student of the Department of Nursing, shared her experience about patent application processes.

We would like to thank the faculty members of the Department of Nursing, which has 20 national and international patent applications in the field of health sciences at our university, for their contributions to the patent ecosystem, and we hope to continue on the road with doubled applications in the new 2025 period.
