In our University, which continues on its way as a Research University, importance is given to the formation of a culture of intellectual and industrial property rights through the Technology Transfer Application and Research Centre. In this context, financial support and expert personnel support are provided for inventions that are the products of scientific studies carried out by our academicians at our University. All financial obligations during the patent application are covered by our University and the processes are carried out on national and international platforms.

A ceremony was held at our University to celebrate the success of our academicians who have achieved significant success in the field of intellectual and industrial property rights. At the ceremony held in the Rectorate Senate Hall with the participation of our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk URSAVAŞ, plaques were presented to our academicians for their registered national and international patents, utility models and designs.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk URSAVAŞ underlined the importance that our University attaches to research and innovation and stated that our University is on the way to becoming a pioneering institution not only in education and training but also in research and innovation, and in this context, patents and utility models created by our academicians are an important indicator that reveals the knowledge and research capacity of our university.

As the Technology Transfer Application and Research Centre of our university, we congratulate our academicians who have been registered and thank them for their contributions to the ‘KTU Ecole".
