Activities by Students and Non-Governmental Organizations in the Science, Culture, and Arts Week

Our university hosted a major event featuring stands introducing the activities of "Non-Governmental Organizations." Additionally, the event included International Student Activities.

As part of the Science, Culture, and Arts Week activities, the operations of " Non-Governmental Organizations " were introduced to our students at the 15 July Democracy Square on our campus. The opening of the event was attended by our Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah Çuvalcı, Trabzon Provincial Mufti Selami Aydın, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Cemil Rakıcı, academicians, administrative staff, and numerous students. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah Çuvalcı, accompanied by the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mehter Band, officially opened the event and, along with his delegation, visited the stands to gather information about the ongoing projects from the representatives.

Cultural Showcases

Another highlight of the event was the International Student Activities, where student clubs under our university showcased their activities. International students pursuing their education at our university introduced their countries, cultures, and traditions to visitors attending the fair. Representing the cultures that have developed through interactions among people, these students exhibited traditional attire, items, music, and local cuisine from their countries, providing participants with diverse experiences.

The event also featured a variety of entertaining games, including Arm Wrestling, Tug of War, and Educational Games, adding to the festive atmosphere.
