The KTU SPACE Club Achieved Great Success in the USA.
The KTU SPACE Team, operating under our University's Space Club, placed 6th in the Model Satellite Competition in the USA.
The KTU SPACE Team from our University's Space Club achieved 6th place worldwide with a score of 98.88 in the CanSat Model Satellite Competition held in Staunton, Virginia, USA, sponsored by NASA. Congratulating the KTU SPACE Team for their significant achievement, Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah Çuvalcı said, “This important success has once again demonstrated the quality of education at our University and the talents of our students on the international stage. The significant ranking achieved by KTU SPACE Club is not only a great source of pride for our University but also for our country. The determination and dedication shown by our students and their advisors in achieving this success instill great hopes for the future.”
Our Rector also congratulated Ömer Eser, Furkan Bayırlı, Zehra Akcan, Bünyamin Kılıç, Ayşenur Tak, Doğukan Erbaş, Sultan Ebrar Güzel, and Muhammed Sait Bayat for representing our country and University in the USA excellently, under the guidance of Project Advisor Asst. Prof. Dr. Emrah Benli from our University’s Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering, and KTU SPACE Team Captain Muhammed Ali Güneş.
