BIOBLACK Project Partners Develop Strategy for Digital Innovation of the Black Sea Conservation

BIOBLACK’s project partners recently convened to evaluate the achievements of Period 3 and discuss targeted strategies for advancing the use of the project's citizen science application. The collaborative session allowed consortium members to review rigorous milestone data, analyze ongoing field outcomes, and outline the next steps for scaling digital engagement across the region.

During the meeting, partners focused on optimizing the application's performance, expanding user adoption, and integrating community-driven data into the project's broader conservation framework. By combining active public participation with scientific monitoring, the consortium continues to drive impactful results for regional marine protection.

The BIOBLACK project is funded by the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme and co-financed by the European Union.
