BlackNETs Project Officially Launched at Our Faculty!
The BlackNETs Project, titled "Let’s Save the Black Sea from Silent Killers", was officially launched with a Kick-Off Meeting and Partner Meeting held at the Faculty of Marine Sciences, Sürmene, on August 14-15, 2024.
The meeting brought together 13 representatives from project partners, including:
Mare Nostrum (Romania) – Project Lead
IO-BAS (Bulgaria)
LEPL Ilia University (Georgia)
Additionally, media representatives attended the event, highlighting the importance of the project in tackling ghost nets and marine litter in the Black Sea.
