In a continued effort to enhance regional collaboration, the BIOBLACK project team recently held an official meeting with the Trabzon Directorate of Provincial Agriculture and Forestry. This visit served as a pivotal opportunity to introduce the objectives and scope of the BIOBLACK project to the institution’s leadership and staff, fostering alignment on local marine conservation goals.

A key highlight of the visit was a dedicated training session provided to the Fisheries Department, which saw the active participation of 11 officials. During the workshop, the team showcased the project's innovative 3D marine species models, providing participants with an interactive look at the biodiversity they work to protect daily. Furthermore, the session included an introduction to the project citizen science application, guiding the participants through the registration process and demonstrating how they can contribute valuable data to our collective research efforts.
