The Interreg NEXT BIOBLACK Project, led by the Faculty of Marine Sciences at Karadeniz Technical University in Sürmene, held its team meeting on 24 November 2025. The meeting focused on the work to be carried out within the scope of the project. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Hacer SAÄžLAM, Prof. Dr. Fatma TELLÄ° KARAKOÇ, Prof. Dr. CoÅŸkun ERÜZ, Prof. Dr. Ali Muzaffer FEYZÄ°OÄžLU, Prof. Dr. ErtuÄŸ DÜZGÜNEÅž, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rafet ÇaÄŸrı ÖZTÜRK, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ä°lknur YILDIZ, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmet ÅžAHÄ°N, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan ÖLMEZ, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zeki ÅžENER.

The BIOBLACK Project aims to protect the biodiversity of the Black Sea and raise awareness on this issue. All relevant stakeholders in Turkey, Bulgaria, and Romania will be introduced to local, invasive, and endangered species in the Black Sea.
