The Interreg NEXT BIOBLACK Project, led by the Faculty of Marine Sciences at Karadeniz Technical University in Sürmene, held its team meeting on 24 November 2025. The meeting focused on the work to be carried out within the scope of the project. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Hacer SAĞLAM, Prof. Dr. Fatma TELLİ KARAKOÇ, Prof. Dr. Coşkun ERÜZ, Prof. Dr. Ali Muzaffer FEYZİOĞLU, Prof. Dr. Ertuğ DÜZGÜNEŞ, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rafet Çağrı ÖZTÜRK, Assist. Prof. Dr. İlknur YILDIZ, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmet ŞAHİN, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan ÖLMEZ, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zeki ŞENER.

The BIOBLACK Project aims to protect the biodiversity of the Black Sea and raise awareness on this issue. All relevant stakeholders in Turkey, Bulgaria, and Romania will be introduced to local, invasive, and endangered species in the Black Sea.
