A technical tour to the MED MERSIN, owned by Medlog Gemicilik ve Ticaret A.Åž. was carried out on 30.05.2024 with the participation of 117 first grade students together with our department lecturers Assoc. Prof. Dr.Umut YILDIRIM, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ä°shak ALTINPINAR, Lecturer Selim BAÅžTÜRK, Res. Assist. Burak VARDAR, Res. Assist. Hürol HOCEK, Res. Assist. Arzu BAL and Res. Assist. Mehmet Ali Vahdet YILMAZ. 
During the tour, the students visited the bridge, engine room, bow and stern manoeuvring areas of the ship and obtained detailed information about ship life, port operations and the duties of the ship's personnel.
