For the Minor Degree Program in the KTU Department of Energy Systems Engineering, students must complete a minimum of 18 credits from the list specified by the department. The courses taken should not be the same or similar to the courses already taken in the student's main degree program. The final decision on the courses to be taken will be made by the Department's Curriculum Committee.
According to the Senate Decision numbered 288 dated April 27, 2018, students accepted into the double major program are required to take a minimum of 240 ECTS (including all courses of our department) from the second major program. After evaluating the courses in which the student has been successful in the first major program, the Adjustment Committee determines the remaining ECTS value needed, and additional courses from the second major program are selected to fulfill this requirement. The total ECTS value of these additional courses for the second major cannot be less than 36.
