The scientific evaluation process of the projects proposed to the Directorate of Research Support Programmes (ARDEB) in the 2nd period of 2024 within the scope of TÜBİTAK ‘1001-Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Programme’ has been completed.

As a result of the evaluation made among the projects evaluated within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1001 Programme in the 2nd period of 2024, it was decided to support a total of 240 project proposals. Within the 240 projects deemed appropriate in this context, 8 of the 24 project applications of our University were entitled to be supported, achieving an acceptance rate of 33.4%. Our university also ranked 4th among the universities whose projects were supported.

With 8 projects that were entitled to be supported among the 24 project applications from our university, KTU ranked 4th among the 23 Research Universities determined by the Council of Higher Education within the scope of Research Oriented Mission Differentiation and Specialisation Programme. On the other hand, it was decided that 2 project proposals applied from our university can be applied without waiting for the next period.
