Within the scope of TÜBİTAK 2237-A Programme and under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Oktay YILDIZ, ‘Increasing the Capacity to Apply to International Funding Sources-3’ event was hosted by KTU TTC with the participation of 24 researchers from 5 different institutions.

Within the scope of the event, which lasted 3 full days in total; the participants were firstly informed about general project cycle management and EU Grant Programmes. Afterwards, the event continued with theoretical and practical trainings on Horizon Europe, TÜBİTAK Bilateral and Multiple Cooperation, Erasmus+ Support Programmes (general information, access to funds, directing researchers to the relevant funds, reading the relevant call guide, preparation of the project proposal form and budget, partner search and application processes) in different sessions. In addition, general information about ‘Platforms Supporting the Establishment of International Cooperation and Partnerships’ was provided and their use was demonstrated practically.

At the end of the training, an ‘Experience Sharing Panel’ was organised with the participation of researchers with experience in conducting international projects within the scope of the mentioned funding sources, and during this panel, experiences were shared with the participants about the issues that researchers should pay attention to during the application and execution phase and the processes they may encounter in this process.
