1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Graduation Project is one of the compulsory courses to be taken in the spring semester of the 4th grade. In order to take the Graduation Project course, it is obligatory to have passed the prerequisite course, Engineering Design.
The subject studied during Engineering Design is also the subject of the Graduation Project. Students continue their Graduation Project with their Engineering Design supervisor and implement the prototype they designed during the Engineering Design course. After the students pass the Engineering Design course, they are expected to take the Graduation Project course in the following semester and continue their projects with the same teammates. It is not recommended to continue the Graduation Project after a break for a semester.
Students should carefully read the explanations and files provided on this page.
WARNING: Continuing the project in the Engineering Design course does not mean that the Graduation Project course is automatically taken. Like other courses, you must do the selection of the Graduation Project course in the semester you are taking it.
2. APPLICATION FILES
If you are continuing the Graduation Project in the semester following the Engineering Design course, you only need to register for the course. You can continue the project topic in the Engineering Design course with the same team and supervisor without taking any further action. However, if you are going to take the Graduation Project course after a break of at least one semester and continue, you should get information from the Head of Department. In this case , there is the possibility of continuing your work with a new subject and a different supervisor. You must act according to the explanations in the Engineering Design and Graduation Project Roadmap file.

Graduation Project Subject Selection (If no break of at least one semester is taken, it should be continued with the same project topic and supervisor selected during the Engineering Design.)
3. FINISH PROJECT FILE DELIVERY
Graduation Project file (book) submission has two stages. These stages are given below in order. This order is actually a checklist of things for the student to do. Students should follow them carefully.
Before Project Submission:
1) Complete the deficiencies in the file you prepared and submitted within the scope of Engineering Design course at the beginning of the semester. You can use the following files for guidance.
2) During the term, complete your work on the Graduation Project with your teammates under the direction of your project supervisor .
3) In addition to what you did in the Engineering Design course, add what you did in the Graduation Project to your project file (book). Additions should be made to the 5. Experimental Studies and Experimental Results in the 6. Results section. Depending on these new additions, some changes (update) may be required in 7. Reviews, Resources and Appendices.
4) When you complete your Graduation Project File (book) as a team, check whether it meets the Graduation Project Submission Conditions.
5) Fill and sign the Graduation Project Submission Conditions Form. Have it signed by your project supervisor and include it in your Graduation Project File after "Curriculum vitae".
First Submission:
6) In this first Graduation Project file submission, only one file should be submitted on behalf of the project team. When naming your file for the first submission, take the explanations on page 3 of the Engineering Design and Graduation Project Writing Guide into account.
7) Graduation Project deadline is announced in the academic calendar for each semester. Upload the file you have prepared from the interface given below until this date.

|
8) After the first submission of the projects, the Graduation Projects Presentation Program will be announced during the Final Exams. The projects included in this presentation program are the projects that meet the Graduation Project Delivery Conditions . Therefore, before submitting your project, make sure that these conditions are met. Objections or correction requests will not be accepted.
9) If your project is included in the presentation program, prepare a presentation poster to be used during the presentation program. One poster is sufficient for each project. While preparing your poster, you can use the project templates given at the bottom of this page. Or you can make your own design, sticking to the content.
10) Upload the poster you have prepared via the Final Poster Upload Interface given below, until the day before the presentation programs start.

|
11) It is obligatory to be in the Graduation Project Exhibition area on the days and times specified in the Presentation Program. Prototypes developed within the scope of the project are exhibited openly to visitors during the presentation program. The selected jury members visit the exhibition and evaluate the projects, fill out the Graduation Project Jury Evaluation Form and submit it to the Head of Department.
12) Graduation Projects exhibition will not be held face-to-face during the Distance Education Pandemic. For this reason, the presentation program will be held online and the jury members will make their evaluations in the online presentations. The online presentation program and meeting access addresses will be announced separately on the department web page.
Final Submission:
13) At this stage, the project owner students who are eligible to participate in the Graduation Project exhibition and presentation program and who are successful at the end of the presentations will deliver their Graduation Project files (books) under their own name, not on behalf of the group, after making the final corrections.
14) In other words, each student will write their own student number and name as the project file name and upload it online separately. It is obligatory to comply with the explanations on page 4 of the Engineering Design and Graduation Project Writing Guide regarding this final submission.

4. GRADUATION PROJECT EXHIBITION
Graduation Projects are exhibited within the framework of the program announced by the Head of Department within the last three days of each semester final exams. The "From Idea to Reality Projects Exhibition" has been going on in our department building since June 2010. Students and project supervisors who exhibit their projects for 3 days are given a certificate of participation.
Since this exhibition cannot be held face to face during the pandemic process, it will be published on the department web page as online poster presentations.
