Vision

KTU TV has set its vision to serve as a leading news source in the fields of education, science, technology, culture, art, and sports by determining its broadcasting principles in line with ethical standards and within the framework of national and international laws and regulations. In addition to its activities in broadcasting, programming, and news, KTU TV’s primary goal will always be to provide education to students, which will remain its core foundation and vision.

Mission 

Karadeniz Technical University Television (KTU TV), since its establishment, has adopted as its mission the goal of showing that Karadeniz Technical University, the fourth university established outside İstanbul and Ankara in our country, is a more preferred university through national and international broadcasts.

Under the guidance of our quality and dedicated professors, and together with eager students who possess team spirit and wish to work in this field, KTU TV aims to have an ethical broadcasting approach that is accurate, reliable, respectful of human rights, innovative, participatory, transparent, environmentally conscious, and sensitive to social issues. Additionally, with its ever-strengthening infrastructure in various fields, it aspires to become a university television that is aligned with the global standards.

The primary mission of KTU TV is to support the education and development of students while promoting internal development and sharing. It aims to showcase scientific projects, activities, and research to a wider audience both nationally and internationally, and to enhance engagement with the university’s student body and alumni. Additionally, KTU TV fosters interactions in scientific, technical, social, and cultural areas, facilitates information exchange between departments, and promotes the university’s faculties and departments within and beyond the institution.
