Learning Outcomes of Master's and Doctoral Programs with Thesis in the Department of History:

  •  To have the ability to use knowledge of social sciences and history
  •  To be able to apply the acquired knowledge in research on historical issues and analyze and interpret the results
  •  To be able to identify the needs for research and design the process in the face of different issues related to historical periods
  •  Be able to solve historical research with an interdisciplinary approach
  •    To be able to define, construct and evaluate historical events
  •    To be able to act with a sense of professional ethics and responsibility in the process of identifying, researching, writing and evaluating the subject in researches
  •    Be able to work in single or multi-disciplinary working groups and communicate effectively
  •    To be able to comprehend the universal and social effects of the results of historical research in a cause-and-effect relationship
  •    To be able to comprehend the necessity of lifelong learning and to be able to use the methods that will ensure the currency of their knowledge
  •   To be able to follow new historical research and new developments in other related fields and update their knowledge
