Experience Shared at the DOKA Blue Economy Workshop

Our faculty member, Prof. Dr. Coşkun Erüz, participated in the Blue Economy Experience Sharing Workshop, hosted by the Eastern Black Sea Development Agency (DOKA) on December 12, 2024. During the event, he provided insights into the blue economy, regional potential, opportunities, and threats. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Sercan Erol and Dr. Neira Purwanty Ismail also contributed to the discussions by sharing their expertise.

The workshop was organized as part of the Blue Gates Project, which DOKA conducts in collaboration with national and international stakeholders to promote the development of the blue economy. Academics contributed to discussions on coastal tourism and blue routes, offering recommendations for the planning of coastal tourism in the region.

Representatives from the Western Black Sea Development Agency (BAKKA), the Central Black Sea Development Agency (OKA), the Northern Anatolia Development Agency (KUZKA), and the Çukurova Development Agency (ÇKA) also participated in the workshop.
