Quality and Accreditation Commission
Duties and Responsibilities Members
• Conducts internal evaluations of the department and continuously monitors compliance with the quality assurance system.
• Provides recommendations to the Department Chair for the development and maintenance of the quality assurance system and integrates the outputs of relevant committees into the quality process.
• Manages the department’s accreditation processes.
• Monitors the compliance of the curriculum, course content, and teaching methods with quality standards, and offers suggestions for improvement.
• Reviews committee reports submitted by the Department Chair.
• Convenes at least once every academic year.

• Reviews, develops, and keeps up to date the content of educational programs, course materials, and teaching methods.
• Monitors and evaluates student achievement and devises strategies to enhance success.
• Determines and updates the department’s educational objectives and learning outcomes.
• Provides recommendations to align educational and instructional processes with accreditation requirements.
• Oversees the proper administration of undergraduate and graduate examinations, and organizes course registration and advisory tasks.
• Coordinates double major, minor programs, and ECTS.
• Submits prepared reports to the Quality and Accreditation Commission.

Duties and Responsibilities Members
• Develops strategies for data collection in areas such as educational processes, student performance, teaching methods, and student satisfaction.
• Selects and implements data collection tools—such as surveys, tests, observations—and ensures the accuracy and reliability of collected data.
• Uses the obtained data as a decision-support tool for continuous improvement of educational processes.
• Submits prepared reports to the Quality and Accreditation Commission.

Alumni Relations and Career Commission
Duties and Responsibilities Members
• Establishes a database containing contact information, job details, and educational background of alumni.
• Maintains communication with alumni via various channels (email, phone, social media, etc.) and shares regular updates on events, announcements, and other developments.
• Works in coordination with the Data Collection, Measurement, and Evaluation Commission to gather feedback from alumni regarding their educational experiences, acquired skills, and professional achievements, and tracks alumni career progress.
• Facilitates student-alumni interaction to provide guidance on career planning and the professional world.
• Ensures coordination with the KTÜ Alumni Association.
• Submits prepared reports to the Quality and Accreditation Commission.

• Follows relevant regulations on course adaptation.
• Facilitates the adaptation of students who join the department through lateral transfer, central placement lateral transfer, vertical transfer, double major, and minor programs.
• Performs all adaptation procedures for graduate programs.
• Handles the adaptation of international students.
• Submits prepared reports to the Quality and Accreditation Commission.

National and International Exchange Programs Commission
Duties and Responsibilities Members
• Provides students with information about exchange programs (Farabi, Mevlana, and Erasmus+).
• Oversees the application processes of students and faculty members applying to exchange programs.
• Handles course adaptation and exemption procedures for students participating in exchange programs, and submits equivalency documents to the Department Chair.
• Submits prepared reports to the Quality and Accreditation Commission.
