Employment Opportunities for Our Graduates
Considering that it is a legal requirement for any planned construction to receive civil engineering services, including the project planning phase, the diversity of employment opportunities for our graduates becomes evident.
The job opportunities for graduates from the Civil Engineering Department are nearly limitless. They can create their own private business opportunities or work for local or international construction firms operating within or outside the country.
As licensed engineers, civil engineers have a broad range of employment opportunities. Key employers include public institutions and local governments that require a significant number of civil engineers due to the nature of their projects. These include the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, State Hydraulic Works, Provincial Special Administrations, Iller Bank, Highways, Airports, Municipalities, etc. For those inclined towards academia, universities and research institutions are among the primary employers. Civil engineers are also heavily employed in the private sector for various contracting, consulting, and supervisory services.
Additionally, graduates from the Civil Engineering Departments within the technology faculties, who have received pedagogical training, can serve as "Technical Teachers" in relevant departments of Technical, Industrial Vocational, Anatolian Vocational High Schools, and Vocational Education Centers affiliated with the Ministry of National Education.
